Gender pay gap at Université Gustave Eiffel 5 avril 2022

As part of the first Equality Month organised by the Université Gustave Eiffel's Equality Mission, ONDES published and presented its second study report on gender pay gap within the University.

On this occasion, the ONDES organised a round table on 5 April 2022 (accessible via Zoom), with the exceptional participation of Rachel Silvera, economist, lecturer at Université Paris Nanterre and co-director of the MAGE (Gender and Labour Market Research Group).

This study is part of the action plan for equality signed and adopted by Université Gustave Eiffel in 2021. The reduction of the gender pay gap is one of the main focuses of this plan. In order to better understand these gaps and act effectively to correct them, a diagnosis was needed. However, that the latter was difficult to make as the institution had recently merged. At the request of the Equality Mission, ONDES conducted a study to break down the pay of women and men within the institution. The study was carried out by Rahma Bensalem as part of an apprenticeship contract within the Human Resources department.
